Learn moreDavenport is one of the fastest-growing cities in Polk County. Its population grew by about 213 percent between 2010 and 2020, to about 9,000. The original settlement, Horse Creek, dates to the 1880s.
The Southwest Florida Water Management District studied the Davenport watershed and mapped preliminary 100-year floodplain areas, with the city sharing the cost. The data is not yet part of FEMA's official maps. The district has an address search, so you can see whether your lot falls in a mapped area. Gutters do not replace flood protection, but they help keep roof water away from the house.
Much of Davenport is newer construction, and many communities have an HOA with rules on gutter color and style. Some newer homes were built without gutters at all. If rain runs off your roof edge onto landscaping or the foundation, seamless gutters and downspouts can send it where you want it.
Besides Davenport, we work throughout Polk County, including Haines City, Winter Haven, Lake Wales. See all service areas.
