Learn moreHolopaw is a small unincorporated community in eastern Osceola County, where US 441 and US 192 meet. It began as a railroad stop and sawmill town, and today it is ranching, timber and citrus country.
Holopaw appears to sit on the upper St. Johns River side of the watershed, near Crabgrass Creek, not on the Kissimmee River side where most of Osceola County drains. We do not assume the same slope as St. Cloud or Kenansville. We look at your lot.
During Hurricane Irma in 2017, Yeehaw Junction, the nearest gauge to Holopaw in a National Weather Service survey, recorded 12 inches of rain, the highest in Osceola County. With few buildings or trees to break the wind, rain can hit a roof edge sideways, so check hangers, end caps and fascia after a major storm.
Holopaw has older wood-frame homes as well as manufactured homes on rural parcels. On older homes, soft or stained fascia is the first thing we look at before new gutters go on. On manufactured homes, roof water often drops along the skirting, so a gutter with a downspout routed away from it protects the skirting and the ground around it.
Besides Holopaw, we work throughout Osceola County, including Kenansville, St. Cloud. See all service areas.
