Learn moreOcoee grew from about 12,800 people in 1990 to more than 47,000 in 2020, driven by the SR 408 and SR 429 extensions. Much of its housing dates from the 1990s onward, with the 1888 Withers-Maguire House as a reminder of the original settlement.
With growth that fast, most Ocoee roofs are 10 to 30 years old. Builder-grade gutters on homes from that era are often undersized or showing wear. We can replace them with 6-inch or 7-inch seamless gutters and check the fascia behind them.
Starke Lake gave Ocoee its name, Lake Apopka is nearby, and Lake Lotta takes drainage from east Winter Garden. Most neighborhood stormwater ponds are managed by the community that contains them, and UF/IFAS recommends keeping a low-maintenance zone of at least 10 feet around a pond. Leave room for water to reach the pond rather than pooling at the edge.
The Orlando-area wet season typically starts in late May and runs to mid-October. During Hurricane Milton in 2024, the National Weather Service reported gusts of 55 to 75 mph across Orange County, locally higher. Loose gutters and soft fascia are the first things a wind-driven storm finds, so we fasten gutters to solid boards.
Besides Ocoee, we work throughout Orange County, including Winter Garden, Apopka, Windermere. See all service areas.
