Learn moreCape Canaveral has the older Presidential Streets neighborhood, a canal-and-ditch drainage network, and a city pump project built after repeated street flooding.
City staff counted six significant flood events in the Center Street basin between 2020 and mid-2024. The city built a tidal check valve and a pump station, partly funded by a $467,500 state grant. The city expected the work to finish in summer 2024. Check the city's current update for how the system is performing.
Cape Canaveral Mobile Estates flooded in October 2025 when pumps that move water to a nearby canal failed. Skirting and drainage around manufactured homes matter, and we install mobile home skirting.
Older homes in the Presidential Streets often have older fascia. We check boards before we hang gutters.
The city bans fertilizer on lawns from June 1 through September 30 and has baffle boxes on its major stormwater outfalls. Directing downspouts onto lawn or planting beds, not the street, helps roof water soak in.
Besides Cape Canaveral, we work throughout Brevard County, including Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, Cocoa. See all service areas.
